Are you new to the comedy scene and started performing recently? Do you want to learn stand up comedy for the first time? We can guide you towards those goals with our Advance Stand Up Comedy Workshop curated by Lex Morales, one of New York City’s professional and experienced comedians.
Your teacher for this Workshop will be:
Lex Morales (USA)
A professional comedian from New York City with over 10 years experience and has performed all over the world. His credits include being co-host of the very popular “Stoner Morning Show” and a performer on “The Colbert Report”. He currently resides and performs here in Bangkok and has performed many popular shows organised by Bangkok Hilarious Comedy Club, Stagetime Comedy Club, Khao San Comedy Club, Comedy Club Bangkok, and The Comedy Den Pakkret. He is also the creative director of NYC Comedy BKK organising and hosting shows.
This “1 Day Comedy Course” will focus on:
– Development From Experience
: Your teacher will share stories about their experiences starting comedy and performing it. All of these experiences shared would failures and successes and how they have developed it forward.
– Improving Performance Skills
: Your teacher will teach you many different aspects of performance and help you better your current performance style
– Joke Writing & Rewriting
: Your teacher will teach you the importance of writing jokes and guide you on how to write and rewrite from their perspectives and help improve your writing skills based off what you find funny
– Mastering Consistency
: Your teacher will teach you the importance of being consistent in the world comedy scene and how to maintain professionalism and originality by informing you to perform as many shows as possible
